PROCEDURE
Dr. Salloum may correct differences in the size, shape or nipple position giving both breasts a similar appearance. May include the use of implants. Also includes revisions after initial breast surgery.
LENGTH
1 to 3 hours.
ANESTHESIA
Almost always general.
IN/OUTPATIENT
Usually outpatient.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Discomfort, tightness, swelling and decreased arm movement.
RECOVERY
Back to work in 1 week or more. Resume most strenuous activities in 1 month. Fading of scars in several months to a year.
