PROCEDURE
Dr. Salloum can plump up creased, furrowed, or sunken facial skin. Add fullness to lips and backs of hands or other body parts. Can be performed either by injecting manufactured natural fillers such as Restylane® or removing a patient’s own fat cells from another body part and injecting them into the problem area.
LENGTH
15 minutes to 1 hour per session.
ANESTHESIA
Usually none; local may be included with the injection.
IN/OUTPATIENT
Outpatient.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Temporary stinging, throbbing, or burning. Faint redness, swelling, excess fullness.
RISKS
All surgical procedures involve specific risks. Dr. Salloum will discuss this with you at the time of consultation.
RESULTS
A few months to 1 year.
